Youth Camp 2026 - Important Info!

Camper applications WILL BE Accepted March 1-7, 2026

Please note that applications are not processed on a “first-come-first served” basis. Our applicant-review committee performs a delicate balancing act of creating a demographic of campers that represent a broad array of ages, instrument selections, ethnic and gender identities, and home addresses. There is a limit to the amount of campers that we can accept each year. We are a volunteer-run organization, and unfortunately we do not have the capacity to accept each and every wonderful youth that applies for camp. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your support!

All applicants will be emailed to be informed whether their youth has been accepted to attend camp or has been placed on a waitlist. Please allow at least 2 weeks for a response. If you applied and did not receive an email (including in your junk/spam folder), please reach out to registration@girlsrocksaskatoon.ca.

Please review the information below, as well as our general camp FAQ page before applying.

Registration dates

Youth that are accepted to camp are expected to have a registration form completed by March 31st, 2026. This is included in the acceptance email and is more detailed than the application form.

Financial dates

April 15th - Payment in full is due by this day, unless: you are applying for Creative Kids; will be using a payment plan; or need GRS funding. Fees for camp are $400.00. 

If you cancel on or before May 16, 2026, you will receive a refund of $350 (Girls Rock Camp will keep $50 as an administrative fee).

If you cancel between May 17 and July 31st, 2026, you will receive a refund of $300 (Girls Rock Camp will keep $100 as an administrative fee).

If you cancel on or after August 1st, you will receive no refund.

camp WEEK & Showcase - August 9th - 15th, 2026

Girls Rock Camp Saskatoon takes place the week of Monday, August 9th - Friday, August 14th, 2026 at Mayfair United Church. Campers are expected to be present for the entirety of the camp week. The week culminates with our camper showcase on Saturday, August 15th, at The Broadway Theatre (715 Broadway Ave). Your camper will perform an original song onstage with their newly formed band! Campers will be required to be at the theatre from approximately 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. More details regarding the showcase will be give closer to the date. Each camper will receive two complimentary tickets to the showcase; additional tickets will be available for purchase during the week of camp.

Waitlist

All applicants who receive an email that they will not be attending camp are placed on a waitlist for consideration, should a spot become available. This would be done by us contacting you by email any time between March 18th and the start of camp. Youth who are waitlisted in 2025 will be given priority consideration if they apply for camp in 2026; and so on.
